Lions, and tigers, and bears! Oh my!

Well, not exactly. It is horses, dogs, cats, reptiles, guinea pigs, and other adoptable animals that are the real stars of ARF2009. Now in its ninth year, ARF, the 9th Annual Animal Rescue Fair & Pet Adoptions Fair, will be held in the covered arena at Wills Park Equestrian Center in Alpharetta, Georgia on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from noon to 5 pm..

Having grown to over 4000 attendees, ARF is the largest pet adoption and educational orientated family-fun event in Georgia. Attendees, rescue groups, and vendors come from all over the southeastern United States to enjoy a day filled with pet product and animal-themed shopping, pet-orientated community services, family-friendly activities, pet adoptions, informative talks and food.

Hosted by HRRRF, the nonprofit Horse Rescue, Relief and Retirement Fund, Inc., Blue Horse Art, and Atlanta Weimariner Club Rescue, ARF2009 offers visitors the opportunity to meet rescued horses in addition to animals from over sixty domestic and wild animal rescue groups and humane societies. 

Also featured at the 9th Annual ARF Animal Rescue & Pet Adoptions Fair will be limited-edition ARF2009 t-shirts created by local artist, Henry Patton, in addition to the sale of his original painting specifically created for ARF2009.
