Golf courses in Alpharetta

Residents of Alpharetta are fortunate to have many public and private golf courses to choose from in Alpharetta. Situated in the middle of Alpharetta’s farmland, the Trophy Club of Atlanta was named by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the Best Places to Play for 2008 - 2009. The Trophy Club’s 18-hole public golf course features 6,958 yards of playing field from the longest tees for a par of 71, rates are reasonable and the staff’s friendly service is renowned. The Trophy Club of Atlanta is located at 15135 Hopewell Road in Alpharetta, (770) 343-9700. Crooked Creek Golf Club at 6464 Alpharetta Highway, (770) 663-4798, has a private 18-hole par 72 championship golf course designed by Michael Riley that winds through a forest of pines and exotic hardwood trees.

Nestled along the winding banks of the scenic Chattahoochee River, the aptly named RiverPines Golf Club has a public 18-hole par 70 championship golf course that challenges players with forests, ravines, creeks and ponds. RiverPines also has a public 9-hole par 3 course that was designed for the short game but built like a championship layout. RiverPines Golf Club is located at 4775 Old Alabama Road, (770) 442-5960. White Columns Golf Club at 300 Clubhouse Drive, 770-343-9025, features a private 18-hole golf course designed by Thomas Fazio, ASGCA, a full service restaurant, a pro shop, a large teeing area with six target greens, two putting and chipping greens, and practice sand bunkers.
