31st Annual Old Soldiers Day Race

Come rain or shine! The 31st Annual Old Soldiers Day Race—that includes both a 5K and 10K race—is a fun event for people of all ages.

Pre-registration begins in February and ends on Friday, July 24th at 4:00 p.m. with an early-bird registration fee of $15 per person, including an Old Soldiers Day Race event t-shirt. Pre-registered participants may pick up their race packet, t-shirt and race number a few days before the event at the Alpharetta Community Center. Dates/times for packet pickup will be posted on the City's website.

Race-day registration begins Saturday, August 1, at 6:00 a.m. The fee is $20, and event t-shirts are not guaranteed to race-day registrants. On-site registration will be held at Wills Park behind the Alpharetta City Pool.

The 5K and the first half of the 10K races featuring an intermediate level course typically begin in front of the Mansell House on Old Milton Parkway and then loop around Wills Road, Academy Street, and Alpharetta Highway, with the second half of the 10K race including the running path that winds through Wills Park. Both races finish in the parking lot of the Alpharetta Pool.

Directions: from GA 400: Take Old Milton Pkwy/ Exit 10, toward Alpharetta. Go approximately 2 miles. Wills Park is located on the left side of Old Milton Parkway between Roswell Street and Wills Road and there are several entrances.
