Big trucks—rumbling down the road beside us—for some, it is just an everyday occurrence. However, for a generation of big truck enthusiasts, both young and old, big trucks are much, much more than large metal objects.
Big trucks are a “feeling like you are on top of the world” love affair, a love affair which can be realized at the 11th Annual Touch a Truck Festival sponsored by The City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department on April 25th from 10am to 2pm at North Park.
All of the estimated 2000+ attendees of the 2009 Touch a Truck Festival will have the opportunity to touch and explore a variety of big trucks and other featured vehicles, including fire trucks, dump trucks, school busses, 18-wheelers, limos, police vehicles, and more!
For the younger truck enthusiasts there is the “Kids’ Zone” featuring children’s activity, interactive games, inflatables, face-painting, and free animal balloons. In addition to the “Construction Zone” which provides children with the free opportunity to build their own creations.
Food vendors and concessions will be also be available to sell food, drinks, and Touch-a-Truck T-shirts in infant, toddler, and youth sizes.
Directions: North Park entrances are located on Cogburn Road (West of Highway 9) & Bethany Bend Road (West of Highway 9)
